Pastoral Opportunity at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church Lewiston, Maine

Thomas Memorial Baptist Church (TMBC), located in south-central Maine, is seeking a pastor to lead our congregation in accordance with God’s Word, specifically as outlined in:
• Matthew 28:18–19
• 1 Timothy 3:1–7
• Ephesians 4:12

TMBC is situated in Lewiston, Maine’s second-largest city—just one hour from the state’s stunning rocky coastline, sandy beaches, and scenic mountain region. Our church is surrounded by culturally diverse communities, including French-Canadian, Somali, other African populations, and immigrants from Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Lewiston High School reflects this diversity, with students speaking over 40 different languages.

This pastoral position is currently part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time role as the church expands.

We are prayerfully seeking a candidate who is:
• Team-oriented in church leadership style
• Grounded in the knowledge and application of God’s truth
• Strong in discipleship training and spiritual development
• Effective in communication and interpersonal relationships
• Firm in spiritual and personal integrity and maturity
• Able to cast and communicate a clear vision for the future of TMBC, aligned with God’s purpose for our church family
• Willing to offer the Southern Baptist Faith and Message link
