Pray for New England

Today, let’s pray for Greenville Baptist Church in Rochdale, Massachusetts. We praise God for two baptisms in August and for the opportunity to begin Sunday School and midweek discipleship programs for children. Please pray for the church’s annual Family Fun Fest on the town common. Pray that the event would open doors for gospel conversations and that God would use it to bear fruit for the gospel throughout the community. Pray that God would continue to grow the church and use its ministries to make Christ known in the community.

New King Church is a church in South Burlington, Vermont, where God has been growing a desire for biblical community, with more than 20 people committing to church membership over the past year. Grace Harbor Church is a church in New Bedford, Massachusetts, celebrating six years of God’s faithfulness and a summer filled with mission teams serving alongside their members to host Kids Camps in neighborhood parks. Please pray that God would use their continued study through Acts to form them and lead them on mission, give them favor among their neighbors, and raise up more leaders to plant and revitalize churches.

Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church is a church in Springvale, Maine, where they are laying the groundwork for a small addition to their historic 1868 church building and recently sent out their youth minister to seminary and a new ministry serving on the ski slopes of Maine and New Hampshire. Please pray that they would build meaningful connections with new neighbors as 80+ new apartments open in a renovated mill just one block from the church, creating opportunities to serve their community and share the gospel.
