Praise God that leaders have been able to find that slowing down during then pandemic has helped them see their everyday rhythms with missional intentionality. Pray that God would help Hub Church to be seen as a place where everyone feels welcome because Christ’s grace and love have been made available to all.

Praise God that new people are attending services at First Baptist Church in Scituate, MA, and learning more about what it means to be a Christian. Pray that everyone who is worshiping at FBC will understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus and that all will be saved. Ask God to help church members not become weary in caring for one another during the pandemic when it’s more difficult to gather in person.

South Coast Church is a young church in Dartmouth, MA. Praise God that He has answered prayers by bringing five new members during the pandemic and connecting several new spiritually mature leaders to the church. Pray for church leadership to have wisdom as they seek to shepherd people and keep the congregation connected. Ask God to help church members understand new ways to use their spiritual gifts during a time of restrictions due to COVID.

Praise God for new people connecting to Seven Mile Road Church in Melrose, MA, even in the midst of the pandemic. Pray for faith and endurance for the church as restrictions and limitations due to COVID continue. Lift up the leaders’ desire for church members to be tethered to the Gospel and to each other right now. Ask God to awaken people to the truth of the Gospel. Pray that as this young church grows larger and more established, they will be marked by unity.

Praise God for His work during the pandemic at Green Valley Crossing in Putnam, CT — a couple who started attending church online during COVID was baptized in January! Pray for the church as they work on a large renovation project in the building they just bought. Although they have a COVID waiver to meet, there is no way to host children’s ministry at the moment. Lift up families with young children who are unable to attend church in person because there is no childcare.

The pandemic has been a struggle for All Nations Church in Somerville, MA, as members have been sick with COVID and the church has had to move to an all-online model. Praise God that Pastor Vivek has been leading a Bible study for a group of Gujarati Indians for the last several months. Pray that by summer the group will be able to host a regular in-person Indian fellowship. Ask God to provide an affordable venue for All Nations Church to hold in-person services as risk of COVID declines.

Praise God for new visitors in recent weeks at Church of the Valley, a church plant in Waitsfield, VT. Pray for God to continue to provide a meeting space for the church. They currently rent a one-room office space, but the owner will soon be selling the building, and their future as a tenant is uncertain. Ask God to encourage the leaders and members, to bring new people to small group meetings, and to help the church be a light in their community.

Located on Cape Cod, Seven Mile Road Church is a church plant in Hyannis. Although the church has had no indoor meeting space due to COVID, praise God that they were able to lead an online discipleship class and an online class for people interested in learning more about Christianity. God also provided outreach opportunities through distributing gift bags at a nursing facility, Christmas bouquets at a senior center, and gift cards for residents at a housing complex. Pray that the church’s efforts to bless people would be recognized as a sign of God’s love, rather than simply a gift. Ask God to give church leaders discernment about whether or not to meet indoors in the spring. Lift up the church’s summer outdoor services, which are scheduled from June to August at Hyannis Harbor.

Iglesia Bautista La Nueva Jerusalem is a Spanish-speaking church in Bridgeport, CT. Between COVID-19 and an emergency maintenance issue, the church has been struggling financially. Ask God to provide financially. Pray that people who have quit attending church in person will continue to grow in their faith and come back to church as the pandemic ends, rather than drifting away.

Praise God that members of Reformed Bible Church in West Rutland, VT, have been able to continue meeting together in person, experiencing strong, faithful fellowship. Praise God for giving the church opportunities to minister through working with area food banks, bringing wood for heating to those in need, and making home repairs for the elderly. Pray that this year God will provide three new church planters and a bivocational worker who has a passion for reaching Muslims from South Asia. Ask that God will bless the church in their efforts to start three new house church plants in 2021 and to share information about South Asian Muslims at seminaries and Bible colleges. Lake Sunapee Baptist Church is located in Newport, NH. Praise God for the way He has blessed the church with a heart for evangelism and numerous baptisms over the last several years. City Light Church is a church plant that is preparing to launch in Worcester, MA. Praise God for a new believer and ministry opportunities including monthly trash pick-ups and the possibility of an indoor skate park. Pray that God will help the church to be able to start public gatherings in the fall and that He will provide funds for the skate park. Ask God to help the church adapt to changing conditions, disciple members well, build relationships, and have more Gospel conversations that result in salvations.

Waterbury Baptist Ministries in located in Waterbury, CT. Praise God for providing for them financially in spite of COVID and allowing them to minister to about 150 families each week through their food pantries. Pray for the health of volunteers and those who have been affected by COVID. Ask God to allow for continued in-person meeting and to give members opportunities and the desire to share the Gospel for God’s glory.

MERCYhouse, located in the college town of Amherst, MA, has an extensive ministry to students. Praise God for the recent baptism of five college students who were part of the church’s discipleship ministry, as well as new seekers and believers who are visiting the church! Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide the church leadership team as they assess ministry changes they’ve made during COVID and brainstorm new, better ways to minister.

Quinebaug River Church, a 7-year-old church, is working on a building in the heart of Jewitt City, CT. Praise God for the volunteers who came in the fall to help the church build. Pray that the building will be complete in time for Easter services.
