Harmony Bible Church, an SBC church in midcoast Maine, seeks pastor. In addition to meeting the Biblical qualifications (1 Tim. 3:1-7, and Tit. 1:6-9), our ideal candidate would be a leader, preacher, and pastor.

Church Profile

Harmony Bible Church is a small church located in midcoast Maine (South Thomaston). Our mission is “To proclaim the gospel, restore hope to the community, and reside together in love.” South Thomaston is a small fishing community with a population of approximately 1500, and is surrounded by beautiful scenery, the ocean, and many small bodies of water.

We are a true four-season climate area and have the potential for severe winters (although last winter was very mild). Spring, summer, and fall are gorgeous!

  • Weekly prayer meeting every Tuesday evening (with very good attendance!)

  • Sunday School Sunday mornings followed by fellowship time, then Sunday worship service.

  • Monthly potluck lunch on the 3rd Sunday of the month (September-May)
