Dr. Terry Dorsett
During his decades of ministry, Terry has served in a wide variety of roles, from staff member at one of the South’s largest churches to pastor of a rural Vermont church that had less than 30 congregants when he arrived. His ability to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds, along with his experience in leading churches and mission organizations of various sizes, has given Terry a deep well of experience to draw from and the adaptability to help churches and mission organizations move toward positive growth. Since 2015 Terry has served as the Executive Director of both the Baptist Convention of New England and the Baptist Foundation of New England. Under his leadership, the endowments at the Foundation have grown by 30%.
Pastor & Former Accountant
Kyle was born in southern Alabama and earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in accounting from Auburn University. After completing his studies, Kyle worked in the audit practice of Ernst & Young, LLP, for ten years. During his tenure with EY, he provided accounting services to a variety of public and private companies ranging in size from $250 million to over $11 billion in revenues and ranging across industries such as technology, communications, insurance and investments. Kyle has served as pastor at Gallup Hill Baptist Church in Ledyard, CT, since 2014. He is married and has four daughters.
Certified Financial Planner

With 25 years of professional experience, Sweyden is an independent Charles Schwab franchisee owner. He helps clients create a personalized financial plan that includes providing investing guidance. He is a certified financial planner who has a Master’s in Business Administration, Series 4, 6, 7, 24, 53, 63, 65 Securities Licenses and Life & Variable Annuity Insurance License, as well as a member of the South Windsor and Tolland County Chambers of Commerce and on the Board of Directors for the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce. Sweyden serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Manchester, CT.
Jewel serves as president of her own company, JaMedia, Inc., where she assists businesses in elevating their brands and provides consulting from conception to completion. JaMedia also writes, produces and directs clients in most platforms of media and specializes in helping small businesses, churches and non-profits. Jewel is a member of her local church and helps organizes a New England-wide women’s retreat each year. Her infectious enthusiasm for life carries over into everything she does.
Corporate Vice President
Mike was born in Connersville, IN, and was raised in church by dedicated Christian parents. He became a follower of Christ at age nine and has served the church in many roles, including youth ministry, teaching, small group leader and elder. In 1981 he married his high school sweetheart, Kathy; graduated with his BS in chemical engineering; and joined Procter & Gamble. Today Mike is Vice President of Product Supply for P&G Grooming and oversees 15 sites in 14 countries, including the manufacturing and supply chain responsibilities for all Gillette, Venus and Braun products worldwide. He is a member of South Shore Baptist Church in Hingham, MA. He and Kathy have three children and four grandchildren.
Retired Engineer & Consultant
Vermont & Alabama
Robert was born and raised in Alabama. He retired from General Motors after serving in several engineering and quality control positions and went on to work for Management Methods, Inc., an international consulting company. Robert has served as a lay leader in Alabama Southern Baptist Churches for all of his adult life. For the past three years he has lived in New England for half of the year, working with the Baptist Convention of New England and encouraging pastors. He is a member of East Randolph Baptist Church in Vermont.
Markes Wilson holds an MBA from Notre Dame and has built a career in healthcare administration. He has served as the Director of Specialty services at ProHealth Physicians in Connecticut since 2015 and previously spent 11 years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. Markes and his wife, Julie, along with their three children are part of a church plant in Windsor, CT. Mark is passionate about the spiritual health of churches and being a part of Gospel growth, planting and revitalization efforts in New England and beyond.
