Discipleship is one of the church’s key ministries. We’re here to help with trainings, resources and encouragement.
Whether you're a small group facilitator, a Bible study leader or a Sunday school teacher, we are thankful for how you are investing in helping others grow spiritually! The BCNE is here to help you grow and develop as a leader by:
Encouraging you in your spiritual walk. It is crucial that everyone who is ministering to others has a vibrant personal relationship with God.
Equipping you with knowledge that is relevant to your ministry context. The first step to excelling in your ministry role is knowing what to do.
Providing you with useful resources. We offer practical, hands-on tools that will help you develop a wide variety of ministry skills.
Coaching you as you train new leaders. In the spirit of Paul's instructions in 2 Timothy 2:2, we want to join you on the journey of making the Church stronger by teaching leaders to multiply.

Community Group Cohort
There are still open spots for our upcomming Community Group Cohort for pastors and directors of community group and small group ministries. Led by Tyler Speck of City on a Hill - Brookline, the cohort consists of three online discussion groups, two one-on-one virtual meetings with Tyler, and one overnight in-person gathering in June.
Registration is $75 which covers materials as well as food and lodging for the in-person gathering. Participating churches are also eligible for a $250 grant for their small group ministry. Click the link below to learn more and claim your spot!

Personalized training
Do you have discipleship or small group needs? We'd love to equip you by creating a customized training for your church or group of local churches. To get started, you’ll need to:
Read through our sample list and choose the training sessions you think would be most helpful. We can combine several sessions.
Talk with other BCNE churches in your area about hosting a joint training session, then choose a location and some potential times.
Contact Sandy by email or phone (508-393-6013 ext. 234) to discuss your ideas. She’ll help you finalize the details.
Customized training is only available for BCNE member churches in good standing.
Lending library
The BCNE has a library full of curricula for small groups and discipleship, plus other church needs. All BCNE member churches are welcome to borrow materials.
Free resources
We pass on samples of Bible studies and discipleship materials to members of our BCNE churches. All you need to do is check out our current list of resources and let us know you’re interested.
