Kids Ministry New England

We provide fresh, relevant training and resources to help your church connect with kids and guide them in their spiritual development.

God has entrusted us with an incredible treasure: our kids. But leading children with excellence can be a challenge.

The BCNE is committed to equipping children's ministry leaders and volunteers. We want to encourage you as you create an environment where kids are safe, are taught at an age-appropriate level and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Explore the sections below to learn more about how we can partner with you, equip you, and encourage you as you minister to children. We offer regular and special training events, personalized training, on-demand training and lots of contextualized resources. By working together, we can grow in confidence and competence while serving kids and families in our churches.

Small group discipleship for kids

"Unearthing the Truth about the Resurrection" is a unique tool that your small group teachers and volunteers can use during this Easter season. This easy to follow study includes resources for four weeks. You will find all the instructions along with at home pages and lots of great ideas to help your kids dig into the importance of the Resurrection and how it can change their lives forever.

Safety and security

We take the safety and security of children seriously. Although each church in the BCNE is autonomous and decides on its own policies, we strongly urge every church to create a safety plan, to run background checks and to educate volunteers. If you’re ready to increase safety and security at your church, the following resources are a great starting point. We are also happy to consult with you or provide customized training as you strive to protect the kids in your care.

Personalized training

Do you have some specific children's ministry needs? We'd love to equip you by creating a customized training for your church or group of local churches. To get started, you’ll need to:

  1. Read through our sample list and choose the training sessions you think would be most helpful. We can combine several sessions.

  2. Talk with other BCNE churches in your area about hosting a joint training session, then choose a location and some potential times.

  3. Contact Sandy by email or phone (508-393-6013 ext. 234) to discuss your ideas. She’ll help you finalize the details.

Customized training is only available for BCNE member churches in good standing.
