In Southern Baptist structures, an individual church has traditionally been part of a local association, a regional/state convention and the nation-wide Southern Baptist Convention.
In New England, our BCNE churches were part of one of seven different associations (six states plus the greater Boston area). For many years this structure helped facilitate local ministry in each state, as well as regional ministry across New England.
Recently, some associations have chosen to merge organizationally with the BCNE. These areas now have a regional coordinator who works for the BCNE and serves local pastors on the ground. You can find those regional coordinators under the Regions tab in the main menu or on the BCNE staff page.
Other New England associations have chosen to continue partnering with the BCNE while remaining separate organizations. You can find more information about these associations at the links below.
Although we now partner with different regions in different ways, our desire is to meet the needs of BCNE churches and leaders in the best way we can according to their individual needs.
