The Baptist Convention of New England is committed to investing in the lives of teenagers and adults who minister alongside teenagers.
Four ministry experiences provide the foundation for youth leadership development.
YEC - Youth Encountering Christ - The BCNE's winter youth conference draws over 800 youth and chaperones each January. The weekend is designed to give youth the opportunity to experience Christ through cooperate worship, workshops, fellowship, and recreation.
CrossWalk - a summer camp for teenagers who have completed grades 6-12. The daily shedule includes age graded Bible studies, recreation, worship, and fellowship. Over 350 students attend. CrossWalk is held on the campus of Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
Quest - is a leadership development experience for high school juniors. Students join together from across New England to form a ministry team. The experience is designed to deepen student's spiritual walk through discovering spiritual gifts, sharing faith stories, and developing an understanding of servant leadership. The three-phase experience concludes with a 10-day mission trip. One team travels to the Dominican Republic another to South Africa.
CheckPoint - for adult youth leaders. This overnight retreat provides adult youth leaders with training, encouragment, resources, and fellowship. Held each September in Sturbridge, MA.
