allforonemedALL For ONE is dedicated to those looking for short term (1 week to 6 months) mission opportunities in the churches of New England.

All refers to many Christians or churches coming together in common mission to serve the needs of one church.

ONE stands for not only one church's need for human service, but for Opportunities New England.

Churches who desire to request a team:

There are many reasons for a church to request a team or several teams over the course of a year to serve:

  • As a means to be missional (Mat. 28:19-20 as well as Acts 1:8)- that is your church expanding God's kingdom work in your Jerusalem. This comes by adding to the human man hours and kingdom investment to your church's strategy for reaching your "Jerusalem" community.
  • More workers for sowing the gospel brings greater levels of prospects and visitors
  • Aid in church and community ministry evangelism initiatives  (ESL, after school programs, children's camp ministry etc.)
  • Provide skilled laborers for evangelism to construction projects.
  • Christ can through the Mission teams infuse energy, vision and skills into your congregation as well as your congregation into the mission team.

Realize:

  1. BCNE churches or Associations should do all they can to plan in advance for mission team requests. To mobilize groups takes planning and most churches that desire to fulfill a request hope to make those decisions before the end of a given year for the next year of activity. Therefore, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE churches who wish to request a team, make that request before Sept. 30 of the year prior to your needed project. We know how difficult a deadline like this is to do and will accept requests up until February of the year of your need, but realize that this greatly reduces the possibility of your getting your request filled.
  2. We post these requests with many of our partners and networks of associations on the state level. Through this service, the BCNE is trying to provide exposure of your project needs with others. We are not in the role of forcing anyone to take a specific team or in any way would we interfere with your role of managing the project. We are just a resource to help and support your needs through connections.
  3. Writing a concise, yet interesting project description is very important when completing the form. A decent project description other than for example: ‘VBS team needed’- which translates: Very Boring Superficial to someone looking for a project. Show them how important this is to you by a good description.
  4. We would encourage your church to additionally utilize the national network bulletin board for project requests through the North American Mission Board called the Bridge
