This year's Vacation Bible School Clinics trained more than 180 individuals.
Johnnie and Lahoma Loar work on a VBS activity at the Vermont VBS Clinic on March 31. The Baptist Convention of New England hosted three Vacation Bible School Clinics around New England during March and April. These clinics were held in Maine (March 24) at Maine Street Baptist, Brunswick, ME, Vermont (March 31) at Baptist Fellowship, Randolph, VT and in Rhode Island (April 14) at Faith Baptist Church, RI.
Each Clinic began with a special Worship Rally that introduced participants to the music of Game Day Central and Jungle Jaunt, the two curriculums produced by Lifeway. Specialized electives were designed to give help in all aspects of VBS. These electives included: family night ideas, promotion helps, working with youth at VBS, overview of crafts, missions, snacks, and recreation.
Lynn Butler, conference leader, shares some interesting facts about Jungle Jaunt. A special thanks to our Vacation Bible School team and all of their effort to make this year's clinics top notch and unforgettable. This year's VBS team included: Melva Davidson and Lynn Butler (from Vermont); Nancy Titus and Angela Taylor (from Maine); Jill Kelly, Millie Vera and Janiss Fowler (from Connecticut); and Pat Lake, Alice McMahon, and Sandy Coelho (from Massachusetts). |
