Boston collegiate church plant mission trip to Ecuador has been featured in an IMB World Changers video.

Nathan Creitz, church planter/pastor of The Church @ The Gate, took a team of students in 2004 to Rio Bamba, Ecuador to minister to the Qechua people.  His mission work and the experiences of the more than 200 students who took part in that International World Changers event were recently featured in the PodTask: a podcast for international missions with stories from young adults produced by the International Mission Board.  The Church @ The Gate, though a church plant, has been active in missions since its inception and continues to support and involve members in mission work.

The video, Road to Rio Bamba, gives a glimpse into the lives of participants at the 2004 International World Changers project in Rio Bamba, Ecuador. It focuses on the impact that students had on the lives of the Qechua people. It also addresses the sacrifices that students make in going on trips like this. Many of the sacrifices students make on short-term mission trips are financial. This feature talks about those financial costs and why students would be willing to give of themselves to go on mission.
