"Let the little children come to Me, and do't stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to such as these," Luke 18:16b But I Want to Go to School... Have you ever heard the word refugee? A refugee is a person, or family, that has to leave his own country to escape some kind of danger. If the danger is war or an earthquake, then hundreds or thousands of people might run from their homes for a safe place. Refugees end up living in a new country for a little while or maybe for many years. The country of Turkey has a lot of refugees. It can be really hard for the children even if they don't have a regular school. Pray, too, that the refugee children will learn about Jesus. Please pray that the church would stay healthy and grow and for the people in our new city to come to Christ. SARAH, age 12 (Central and Eastern Europe.) Please pray for my friends to become Christian. Ask God to protect us from crimes. TATE, age 13 (South America) Everyone is very nice and helpful. Please pray for my grandparents who were in a car wreck. They are okay but they have to buy a new car. ANDREA, age 10 (Northern Africa and the Middle East) The people in Thailand are always smiling and being kind. They are really serious about their own religion which makes it hard to share with them. Pray that the Thai people would see Christ in my family and me. STEVEN, age 13 (Pacific Rim) am moving in August and do not know any friends in the new city. Please pray for me to make friends.
