What is evangelism? Simply put, evangelism is believers glorifying God by sharing the good news of God's love and redemption with lost people. This must be done through the power of the Holy Spirit and with an attitude of humility.
Since fewer people attend church in today's culture, it is more important than ever for Christians to make personally sharing their faith a priority. The BCNE wants to partner with New England Baptist churches by equipping believers to share their faith. Check out some of the resources below, or contact Bruce James to discuss setting up evangelism training for your church.
One of the best tools available for sharing the Gospel is the North American Mission Board's 3 CIRCLES: LIFE CONVERSATION GUIDE. This simple guide teaches people how to turn conversations about problems into conversations about Jesus using a simple visual illustration.
The BCNE believes in the potential impact of this Gospel resource so much that we are issuing a challenge for 2017. If you schedule a 6-week 3 Circles training sometime this year, we will send you a free 3 Circles kit. We can also have a BCNE staff member come to your church (you must be a BCNE member church) to help lead the training. Download and explore the resources below, and contact administrative assistant Grant Davis for more info.
