Allyson has served on the BCNE staff since 1999.

Allyson feels blessed to have been raised in a Christian home always knowing God's love for her. She became a Christ follower during her sophomore year of high school following a Young Life youth group meeting. As a high school senior while attending YEC she heard God's call to vocational ministry.

Beginning as a volunteer, Allyson's work with youth goes back to her junior year of college. Since that time she has served with churches as a youth Sunday school teacher, intern, part-time minister, associational youth minister and full-time youth and christian education minister. In addition she worked as a group home counselor for girls and an alcohol and drug counselor at an adolescent treatment center.

Allyson holds a B.S degree in Criminal Justice from Middle Tennessee State University and a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Allyson loves to travel and has been blessed in recent years to lead groups on mission trips to Canada, London, the Dominican Republic (7x), and South Africa (2x).

In addition to investing in the lives of teenagers and adults who minister to teenagers, Allyson loves the Red Sox!
