What: The annual HEARTS IN HARMONY women's retreat.
**Guest speaker Donna Gaines.
Donna is known as a woman of prayer and a devoted student of God’s Word. She is married to Steve Gaines, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. There she leads Bible studies through Women’s Ministry and disciples women in her home. Donna’s first book, There’s Gotta Be More: Enjoying the Spirit-Filled Life, was published in 2008 by Broadman & Holman. It encapsulates her life’s message: “There is a way to find the satisfaction we are all seeking, and we find it in relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Current costs, which includes registration, materials, overnight accommodations, Saturday meals, and all retreat activities:

Here's a glimpse into the activities for the weekend:
From the time you arrive and are greeted at the registration desk until our final goodbyes on Saturday afternoon, we hope your weekend will have been filled with inspiration, revelation, relaxation, fellowship, and just plain old enjoyment!
Shop till you drop at the Morning Star Christian Bookstore! You will find a selection of Bibles and Christian books of all kinds, as well as music, gifts, jewelry, and home décor. Browse as long as you like!
One of the highlights of the retreat is our time spent all together
singing His praises, lifting our hearts to Him in prayer, and searching
His Word for His Truths.
Optional breakout sessions will be available on Saturday morning for pastor’s wives and others. Other optional activities at the same time will include the bookstore, coffeehouse, spa, and pool.
With lots of time to fellowship, you’ll meet new friends and renew old acquaintances; get silly and tell funny stories; and get serious and share your heartbreak with someone who has gone through the same thing. There is something special about women talking, laughing, sharing, praying, crying, and fellowshipping together.
One of our most popular spots during all hours at the retreat is our "Common Grounds Coffeehouse". Late on Friday night or early Saturday morning, it's possible to see women sitting at tables or on the floor, resting on couches or standing around in groups. One woman may be sitting alone thoroughly enjoying her coffee and magazine. Two friends may be lost in a long overdue heart-to-heart conversation. A group may be engaged in a singalong with some impromptu guitar players. Coffees. Teas. Homemade goodies galore. Lots of chocolate! All free!!!
On everybody's to-do list for the weekend is the Heartsong Spa, where free massages and foot rubs await!
Tentative Schedule:
Friday, 4 pm – Check in to hotel, swim, visit, relax (dinner on your own)
7 pm – General session with praise & worship and Bible teaching
9 pm – Fellowship: visit the spa, coffeehouse, bookstore
Saturday, 8:30-9:30 am – Breakfast buffet
9 am – Free time: spa, hot tub, pool, coffeehouse, bookstore, optional breakout sessions
11 am – General session
12:30 pm – Lunch, relax, fellowship, visit bookstore
2 pm – General session
4 pm – Retreat ends
Located on beautiful Cedar Lake, the hotel has lovely accommodations. Each guest room includes WiFi access, and most guest rooms and suites include a balcony or patio. Resort facilities including a fitness center, heated indoor swimming pool and hot tub, beach, paddleboats, and miniature golf course.
