#28-13 Evangelistic Event (Block Party & Community Service Project) Church Revitalization
This church, in the midst of revitalization, is in need of a team to assist them to conduct a block party on the weekend and then a community service project the week afterward. There will be games, food, music and fun. The "Family Fun Day" Block Party is a strategic time to build new relationships, love on families and share the gospel. Less than 3% of the population in this area know Christ as Savior and Lord. They are still assessing and planning how to best serve the local community with a project that builds trust. Come and help make a difference. Gallup Hill Baptist Church is located in Ledyard, CT. They have housing, showers and kitchen. The dates are July 18-24, 2013.

#25-13 Construction (Renovation of Old Buildings)
This Haitian church has two buildings which will greatly expand their ministry, but they are in great need of multiple teams to assist with renovations and repairs. One building will be turned into an adult day care center and the other, they hope to create offices, a Christian Mental Health Center and have missionary housing on the 3rd floor. The two buildings have need for electrical, carpentry, insulation, sheet rock, plumbing and painting work. Both buildings have bathrooms and kitchens needing renovating. Come and help transform these crude stones into beautiful gems for ministry for Brockton Tabernacle, in Brockton MA anytime from Spring to Fall of 2013.

#24-13 Evangelistic Event (Sports Camp) Church Plant
This is for a week long summer kids program called KidsGames. This is the 4th year the church has hosted this event and it is already loved by the community. Kidsgames is a sports/fun activities camp where life skills such as honor, integrity, selflessness etc. are taught using Bible stories. A team is very much needed of at least 15 members capable of leading kids. The team should be spiritually and physically able to teach and re-emphasize the daily lessons through the routine of the daily activities. This is an incredible event that God has opened the door for the church to use in their community as they are in one of the most unchurched areas of the country. Thank you for your help!  The team is needed for July 8 -12, 2013, which is not flexible. The program is already scheduled with the town that week. The program is 8-3 Monday through Friday. The team can stay at the church and there is a kitchen. This takes place in Weymouth, MA (South of Boston).

#1-13 Evangelistic Event & Partnership (Sports camps) Church Plant
This brand new church plant is just getting off the ground in Revere (Boston) and needs assistance engaging and reaching its community. This church planting team will be doing beach recreational sports as well as a sports camp in the summer. Partnership is needed. True Vine Church, 627 Revere Beach Parkway, Revere, MA



#2-13 Mixed: Servant Evangelism / Construction (renovation) Church Plant
Help needed for this five-year-old church plant. Any of these three weeks will consist of Servant Evangelism, Flyer distribution, Prayer Walking, a block party, and $1 ice cream giveaways. Friday can be a day of fun in Boston and Saturday will be a free movie-in-the-park with bounce houses and refreshments. They also have some spaces that need to be remodeled. Still has need for light remodeling (no construction) for their renovated worship and ministry space. MeetingHouse was started in 2006 and planted in 2008. Please prayerfully consider sending your teams to help reach the lost in Massachusetts. Teams are needed for weeks in July and August. MeetingHouse Church, Taunton, MA.

#3-13 Evangelistic Event (Youth Sport Camp) Church Plant
This four year old church plant (and CP center) hosts an evangelistic event called KidsGames, which is a sports camp that is a week long. It involves coaching, crafts, a lesson time, and leadership development. In the past, they have gotten the community involved in helping with the event. They have ministered to an apartment complex of 200 homes for the past four years which has led to families being saved and joining the church due to this event. The team will need to facilitate sports, arts & crafts, and a Bible study. Cornerstone International Community Church, Norwich, CT Early July 2013.

#4-13 Evangelistic Event (Block Party) Church Plant
Cornerstone is planning a ‘big block party’ which is one of their attractional events for 2013. They will have a three-day carnival / block party with follow up worship on Sunday. They would like to follow up the event with additional block parties to continue to build relationships. Teams are needed to promote and serve in both the large evangelistic carnival as well as the follow up block parties. Be a part of the dynamic work going on here. #5-13 Evangelistic Event (Basketball Camp) Church Plant
A team is needed to aid this emerging church plant by conducting a basketball camp. Huddle leaders will also be needed to teach short Bible studies pertaining to the person and the work of Jesus Christ. Also, those skilled in basketball can help with the drills that will be done to help the kids stay on task. The team also needs to pass out snacks, water, other refreshments, or important information to these kids. Redemption Fellowship of Fall River, MA.

#6-13 Evangelistic Events and Construction Church Plant
Imagine a 3 year old church planting and leading three separate churches (one Russian, two English). Mosaic Church Allston and Boston are growing rapidly and much help is needed. They can use as many mission teams as possible for event or servant evangelism projects of all kinds. They also need assistance with construction teams for remodeling or renovation work. They need to upgrade 5 bathrooms, install two showers, install some lighting and other electrical work, install some flooring, do some professional landscaping- skilled labor is definitely needed. #7-13 Evangelistic Events (Community events, Servant Evangelism & Kids Day Camp) Church Plant
As a two year old church plant, Charles River Church is seeking to connect with the community through various community service events in order to build trust and communication. Both of these two weeks will feature a variety of events in order to increase community awareness of the church. Each week will feature movies in the park for families- providing a free family fun evening with popcorn, kids’ activities at the local farmers market, a summer concert series, and a week long summer day camp for low income and at- risk students at the local housing projects. Each activity raises awareness about the church, as well as offering free help by going around to the local businesses and offering to assist them. Help is needed (wash windows, vacuum, clean bathrooms, sweep, hang signs, etc.) Since they are a small church, they need many hands to pull off these awareness events. Their needs summarized: -College Spring Break Missions Teams: This is a strategic time for missions teams, just before Easter. -Summer Missions Teams: We have exciting summer children’s programs where missions teams can work with children through summer camp, VBS, and family “Movies in the Park”. -Current Needs: 2 $300 Movie Licenses for upcoming Family Movie Nights; Projector for Worship Gathering. #8-13 Partnership Chinese Church Plant
Boston has 100,000 Chinese living, working and going to school with little Gospel influence. Timothy Rhee is pastoring a small Korean congregation called All Nations Mission Church in Charlestown (Boston) but also has a calling to plant a church among the Chinese. He is Korean and his wife is Chinese. This plant is in need of supportive partnerships. 


#9-13 Evangelistic Cultivation (Block Party-VBS- Survey-Prayerwalking) Church Plant
This young church, coming up on it's third year, needs mission teams to help cultivate their neighborhood through door to door surveys, VBS, a Block party and prayerwalking. Come and make a difference in this neighborhood on the west end of Providence, a city that needs Christ. Hope Baptist Church, Providence, RI Late July or early August.


#10-13 Evangelstic Event (Servant Evangelism) Church Plant
A vibrant prayerwalking servant team is needed to assist this brand new church plant serve their community through leaf raking and autumn yard prep with elderly and low income homes. Green Valley Crossroads is a church plant seeking to serve Putnam CT (a town of 10,000) with maximum grace. They will be launching worship services in the Spring of 2013 and doing many service events throughout the summer. This project need is for late October 2013.

#11-13 Church Plant / Strengthening (Leader Seminar) Nepali Church Plants
There are four SBC Nepalese churches planted in New England. All together, there are nine in the North East region. Eight churches are being planted by 2013. There are many Nepalese and Bhutanese people living in New England and coming to Christ. The leading need is to provide discipleship and training to equip the leaders. Nepalese and Bhutanese pastors are in need of theological and methodological skill development. There is a desire for a leadership mission team to come and do multi-location 2-day leadership seminars. Lead a cross-cultural event right here in New England! Nepali Community Church, Boston. #12-13 Church Plant / Strengthening (Women's Leadership Development Retreat) Nepali Church Plants
Many of the Nepalese and Bhutanese female believers in these churches come from Hindu or Buddhist backgrounds. Most are new to the United States and lack leadership skills. Forty women are expected to join for this two days seminar. This seminar can be held either in Boston, MA or Manchester, NH. A mission team is needed to lead all aspects of this retreat. #13-13 Evangelistic Cultivation & Event (Evangelistic Event) Bangla Church Plant
Teams needed to do prayerwalking prior to a special international cultural exchange event designed to build relationships with Muslims & Hindus, in an effort to communicate the gospel. This is a dynamic opportunity for real cross-cultural evangelism working among the many Banglas in the greater Boston area. Language differences do not pose a problem for this event. Be a part of what God is doing to engage other people groups right here in America (other mission projects could be arranged in the Boston area to fit in with this project). #14-13 Evangelistic Events & Partnership Brazilian Church Plant
This relatively new plant seeks to bring the Gospel to a very under-churched area of Boston in Somerville. They are the second (the first is Haitian). They need assistance with hosting evangelistic events like a children's club, back-to-school and a block party. They need prayer support and assistance reaching the thousands of Brazilians in this part of the city throughout 2013.

Teams are very needed for reaching the many internationals in the Boston collegiate community for any of the following mixed projects for adults: College/ International Ministry/ Distribution/ Hospitality Boston International Ministries, Boston / Cambridge, MA Various times throughout the year 2013.



#16-13 Evangelistic Event (VBS, Block Party)
The work of this inner city multi-cultural church and ministry center seems never done and is always in need of several mission teams. Teams are needed to help conduct one of four weeks of Day Camp / VBS (5.5 hours daily) for children. Come and minister to preschoolers through 6th graders and the community of Waterbury by conducting Fun Wagon (block party style event), day camp (VBS style) and prayerwalking. (Note: Church is dually aligned with SBC & CBF) Waterbury Baptist Ministries, Waterbury, CT July 2013 Weeks TBD.

#17-13 Construction (Renovation, Light Repairs, and Painting)
Eleven years of continual use has aged the facilities of this hub for missional work, servicing six states. Our missions’ mobilization lodge is still in need of a shed, screens for windows, shelving and other light construction work. BCNE needs its interior offices painted as well. The job is too big for our limited staff, so if you would like to help Baptists in New England, please let us know! The missions lodge on the grounds can be used for housing for volunteers. #18-13 Construction (Renovation)
This church's children's ministry room has a floor that is only half finished. They are looking to complete a hardwood floor and also put some type of padding/cushioning/carpeting down to quiet the noise as the room is directly above the sanctuary. They have 3 bathrooms crucially needing renovation as well. Pictures are available. Once the project is completed they would like to have a ‘Thank you’ party with children from the church and neighborhood attending. Worcester Baptist Church, Worcester, MA Anytime in July, 2013.

#19-13 Construction (Paint)
The Lord has added more facilities to this very old church with a very old house. Both are in need of much work. Multiple teams are needed to:
Remodel 3 rooms of 1790’s house completely (insulation,drywall etc.). Scrape and paint entire outside of 4500 square foot farm house. Church will buy the paint. Spray painters would be helpful. If not ladders and brushes and rollers will do. The small church is in desperate need of paint as well. It was hit with the tornado two years ago.

#20-13 Prayer Partner
North Shore Baptist Church in Peabody is a very old and small congregation on a journey of rediscovering God's great mission. They would definitely be interested in establishing a prayer partnership with another church. The pastor is bi-vocational and desires a lasting reciprocal relationship with another church.

#21-13 Construction (Remodeling) New Baptist College
Come and turn the third and fourth floors of Grace Christian School, which was once a hotel, into New England's first Southern Baptist College. Help turn these unused floors into classrooms and offices for a new Baptist college which is scheduled begin operation in the fall of 2013. Much has already been completed but the following work is needed: -Drywall Installation –Painting -Carpet Installation -Suspended Ceiling Installation –Electrical -Carpentry Finish Work -Door Installation - Numerous office bookcases need constructing and final touch-ups. Teams coming after the school term begins (Sep. 6, 2013) will need to plan on working from 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Anytime from Fall 2012 through August, 2013.

#23-13 Evangelistic Event (Block Party and VBS)
A church plant in Malden MA (Greater Boston), needs a team of 10 to assist in creating an awesome VBS one week and perhaps another team to assist with a Block Party for families with children the week afterward. Vida Abundante Baptist Church is a Brazilian and English church where the children speak English. The team can stay either in the church (which has showers and kitchen) or host homes. The teams are needed for July 19-28, 2013. If you'd like to help, contact Tim Buehner at the BCNE.

#26-13 Construction (Building Rehabilitation)
There is an old church building that God has put into the possession of the BCNE that we are very excited to be a future multi-church / church planting center for Worcester. The building is in serious need of renovations and repairs. We are in the first phase of assessing work and planning for repairs and renovations over the next 18 months. If your church or ministry has people with ability to provide project management, skilled trades persons (some licensed in Massachusetts) and could pitch in to help us use this building again for the Lord's Kingdom, please contact  Tim Buehner at the BCNE (508-393-6013 xt 222). We will have a need for Disaster Relief Recovery crews to do demolition as well. We will need volunteer short term construction teams as well. Work will include carpentry, masonry, electric, sheet rock / plaster, window repair / installation and painting.

#27-13 Evangelistic Cultivation (Children's Ministry Strategizing) Church Plant
The town they are planting the church in has numerous families with children- children with many needs and not enough to do. This young church plant needs a ministry leader to come on short term mission to help assess and strategize a five year plan for reaching and ministering to these children. The plant is pre-launch but its core group meets weekly for worship and small groups. They are very committed to serving families. Contact Tim Buehner at the BCNE for more information.
